Winter: Average temp
-25C. Few weeks every winter (usually Dec/Jan) of -40C to -50C. Shortest
day of the year is Dec 21st when it is light from about 10:30 am till
3 pm. Lose the direct sun Dec and Jan as Dawson is in a valley, but
it is still light (like an overcast day on the coast!) About 3-4 ft
of snow which stays all winter (so that winter recreation activities
are predictable!) but no blizzards and very little wind. Lots of blue
skies starting in Feb.
